The Fire Shark CarbonX has been developed for direct firefighting as well astechnical rescue work, as stipulated in EN659:2008.
The Tophand is made of CarbonX; the palm is fire-resistant cowhide. As a material
CarbonX is extremely heat-resistant and even after longer heat exposure
the fibre remains intact. Even under wet conditions Fire Shark will still assure highest
dexterity and solid grip. Gathered padding in the finger area ensures best
cushioning and extra heat protection. Hook and loop for easily attaching the glove
to the fireman gear. Silicone knuckle protection on the tophand. 3M reflective
strips ensure optimum visibility
